Indigenous communities in Oaxaca believe that plants can feel, remember, hear and even speak to us.
These photos were taken on a trip around Sierra de Juárez in Oaxaca, and they’re trying to represent plants not only as a part of nature with a complex inner molecular structure, but also as cosmic entities that have a memory, a history impregnated in their “veins” and the reminiscences of a another time that we are never gonna be able to perceive.
